ProjectsDuring the giving season, Student Council went to work to give to others. Student Council officers and members spent a day shopping for donations to give to The Holiday Project hosted by a department of Social Services. By purchasing coats, blankets, socks, hygiene products, food items, and much more it was their goal to help others. These items were presented to families in need of a little extra care. The Student Council also choose to donate money towards the local Family Promise organization to help purchase things that they were in need of. Finally, Student Council spread the Christmas cheer through LHS by setting up the Christmas Tree.
